Department for Structural Macrokinetics of the Tomsk Science Center

The foundes of SHS school, member correspondent of Russian Academy of Sciences mr. Merzhanov A.G. paid much attention to the works of Tomsk SHS school, headed by professor Maksimov Yu.M. It was their initiative to establish the Branch of the Institute for Structural Macrokinetics in 1989. At present the staff of the Institute is 70 persons, among them there are 2 Doctors and 12 Candidate of Sciences. During these years a member of fundamental invastigations had been conducted in the field of self-propagatin modes of chemical transformations in different porous heterogeneous systems. The characteristic peculiarities of the investigations conducted at the Tomsk Branch is the development of new material synthesis technologies, their in plementation the enterpriser.
