Морфологическое описание. Perennial (reputedly sometimes biennial) herb from a taproot, many-stemmed (fig.1), somewhat suggestive of E.brachycera in aspect; herbage glabrous; stems lax, loosely ascending to prostrate; leaves rather succulent, densely crowed, obovate to obovate-oblong, about 1.5 cm long, prominently mucronulate; stipules wanting or represented by small glands; inflorescence an umbel, the rays of the primary umbel (5)7-10(12); cyathium with 4 well developed glands(fig.2), these thick, blunt, often distally expanded or weakly lobulate with marginal horns; capsule 5-7 mm long, glabrous; seeds 3-4.5 mm long, sculptured.
