	THE THINKER November 19, 2000 the great son of Russian people, Academician Michail Alekseevich Lavrentiev is 100. He has lived long and vigorous life of the main enthusiastic creator of the new scientific center at the East of our Country. He has not lived a month up to his 80th anniversary. Michail Alekseevich Lavrentiev was the person of a huge scientific and civil scale for everyone, who knew him. The image of this bright person is indelible.
