THE SIBERIAN AGREEMENT: PROBLEMS OF SCIENCE IN AGENDA

It`s hardly worth explaining why the session of the "Siberian Agreement" Inter-regional Association held in Tomsk on August 13, resembled an improvisation of experienced performers. The decisive role in the realisation of the project belongs to Prof. Anatoly Lashin, the director of the Institute of Electron Beam Technologies of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

LIGHT OUT OF THE WATERS OF THE WORLD OCEAN

One of the insistent problems in late 20th and early 21st century is the conservation of the diversity of biological objects that inhabit our planet. Excessive anthropogeneous impact on natural objects leads to changing of number and - not rarely - complete disappearance of some biological species bringing a threat to biosphere equilibrium.
