	RECOGNITION OF MERITS OF SIBERIAN SCIENTISTS According to the resolution of municipal Assembly of Deputies of Yakutsk, Academician V.Larionov, chairman of the Presidium of the Yakut Scientific Center of the SB RAS, has been conferred the rank of Honorary Citizen of Yakutsk City.
	SIBERIA IS BEING SHAKEN... On September, 27-28, 2003 powerful earthquake has happened in the Mountain Altai, nearby to District center Kosh-Agach. At the epicentre the ground shaking have measured more than 7 on the Richter scale.
