	THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY SESSION OF THE ASSOCIATION OF ACADEMIES OF SCIENCES IN ASIA From September 23 to September 25, 2003, sessions of the Fourth General Assembly of Academies of Sciences in Asia (ААSА) and International Symposium "Food resources and security" have been held under the chairmanship of Head of the Association of Academies of Sciences in Asia N.Dobretsov in Teheran.

	ON THE ADMISSION TO THE POSTGRADUATE STUDY Scientific Institutes of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences announce an admission to internal and extra-mural postgraduate study for 2003.(Close, for the beginning see the "SiS" № 39).
