	HERE THE CRYSTALS ARE GROWN So it has happened that the Branch of the Institute of Mineralogy and Petrography of the SB RAS settled down at some distance from the place of basic "disposition" of the majority the NSC Institutes and the editorial office of our weekly. In a word, the above-mentioned organization is not a frequent visitor of the pages of our newspaper.
	THE NORTH-MUYSK TUNNEL: A NEW PAGE IN THE TUNNEL BOOK In the Design Technological Institute of Digital Techniques of the SB RAS (DTIDT) an automated control system of technological processes for the North- Muysk tunnel of the East - Siberian railway (Buryatiya, the North-Muysk Ridge) is created.
	A WORD ABOUT ETYMOLOGICAL DICTIONARIES In 2003 “Etymological dictionary of Russian adoptions in the languages of Siberia", prepared by leading scientific researcher of the Institute of Philology the SB RAS, Corresponding Member of the SB RAS Alexandr Anikin has been issued.

	FACE TO FACE The guest of Radio LIBERTY is Academician of the RAS Vitali Ginzburg, the Nobel Prize winner of 2003 in the field of physics.
	PHILOSOPHICAL COMMUNITY HAS CELEBRATED ANNIVERSARY OF IMMANUIL KANT There are two significant dates of the history of philosophy in 2004: April, 22 the 280th anniversary from the birth date and February, 12 the 200th anniversary from the date of death of great thinker Immanuil Kant. The anniversary of I.Kant is celebrated not only by philosophers; this is cultural event of universal importance. I.Kant was Honorary Foreign Member of the St.- Petersburg Academy of Sciences.
	CONGRATULATIONS ON THE ANNIVERSARY! March, 10, 2004 senior scientific researcher of the Institute of Philosophy and Law Doctor Sc. (Philosophy) Koruhov Victor Vasilievich has been 50.
