	TRADE UNION PROTESTING The project of the RF Ministry of Finance «On the modifying of the RF budgetary code» once again threatens rhythmical financing of the RAS and other Academies, education and culture establishments.
	EXTRAORDINARY ASSEMBLY The representatives of the Trade Union of the workers of the RAS, scientific and public organizations make a protest against the absence of effective actions of the Russian Government for overcoming the crisis situation in science, education, public health services and culture in Russia.
	FOR THE PROTECTION OF BAIKAL March, 16 a meeting of the representatives of the Irkutsk Academic science of the SB RAS and SB RAMS, the Buryat Scientific Center of the SB RAS, higher education institutions of Irkutsk, Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk Region, legislative assembly the Irkutsk City, the Regional Russian union of youth, the youth and public ecological organizations, representatives of press took place at the Presidium of the Irkutsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS where a public association «Movement for the protection of Baikal» has been founded by unanimous decision.
	STATEMENT OF THE PRESIDIUM OF THE BURYAT SCIENTIFIC CENTER The Presidium of the Buryat Scientific Center of the SB RAS upholds the open letter of the scientists of the Irkutsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS and joint statement of the Governor of the Irkutsk Region A.Tishanin and the chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Irkutsk Region V.Kruglov on inadmissibility of the «Eastern Siberia - Pacific ocean» oil pipeline building along the Baikal Lake coastline.
