	LARGE-SCALE FORUM OF MECHANICISTS 9th All-Russian congress on theoretical and applied mechanics took place in Nizhni Novgorod where about thousand scientists of Russia and some foreign countries have taken part. About hundred participants represented scientific institutes of Novosibirsk.
	THE SCHOOL OF PARALLEL PROGRAMMING From August, 28 to September, 8 the 3rd Russian-German School on Parallel Programming using High Performance Computation Systems has been held at the Institute of Computational Technologies of the SB RAS.
