	YANSHIN’S LIFE IN THREE BOOKS This year, March, marks 95 years from the birth date of outstanding Russian geologist Alexandr Leonidovich Yanshin (1911-1999).
	MEMORY AS UNDERGROUND WATERS Doctor Sc. (Physics and Mathematics) Vladimir Nikolaevich Emich is engaged in theoretical research in the field of underground hydrodynamics and belongs to the Siberian school of filtration created by Academician Pelagea Yakovlevna Polubarinova-Kochina.
	PREDATORS BECOMING TAME Already almost half a century the researchers of the group of experimental animal domestication of the Laboratory of Evolution Genetics of the ICG are dealing with the problems of domestication. They try to understand, whether the changes of behaviour occurring in the process of animal domestication are connected with the changes of their morpho-physiological organization.
