	PRE-HOLIDAY TALK ON THE FUTURE ICE AGE When almost fifty seven years ago a young graduate of the Physics faculty of the Leningrad State University Veniamin Balobaev under his personal initiative has arrived in order to work in the Yakut Research Permafrost Station of the Obruchev Institute of permafrost (the Institute was in Moscow), he did not know yet, that science and the northern exotic to attach him to Yakutia for all the life.

	EXHIBITION FOR "THE RELATIONS REBOOT" A Russian National Exhibition has been held in Chicago. The Russian Academy of sciences organized the exposition "Russian science today".
	JOINT SESSION IN THE ONLINE MODE On the seventh of December a videoconference of the competitive commissions of the Siberian Branch and the National Scientific Council of Taiwan has taken place at the conference hall of the Exhibition Center of the SB RAS concerning the summarizing of the assessment results of applications for joint research projects.
	HEILONGJIANG - THE SB RAS: COOPERATION GOES ON December, 21 to 22 the delegation of the Department of Science and Engineering of the People’s Government of the Province Heilongjiang has visited the Novosibirsk Scientific Center.
