	On the problems of cooperation of the Novosibirsk City and Regional Administrations with the SB RAS Presidium on development of infrastructure of the Novosibirsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS Resolution of the General Meeting of the Novosibirsk Scientific Center of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
	MUNICIPAL AND TERRITORIAL AUTHORITIES AND THE PROSPECTS OF THE NOVOSIBIRSK ACADEMGORODOK DEVELOPMENT November 29 the General Meeting of the Novosibirsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS has been held to consider social problems of the NSC. The first Meeting like this has been held just a little more than a year ago and was devoted to the situation with infrastructure, construction of habitation and its prospects, young scientists` status. The present Meeting, in addition to these questions, has analyzed cooperation of regional, urban and district authorities with the Siberian Branch of the RAS and the strategy of development of these relations. Principal report has made by the Head of Administration of the Soviet District of Novosibirsk, Doctor Sc. (Philosophy) A.Gordienko.

	SIBERIA AT THE CROSSHAIRS OF WORLD RELIGIONS At the end of October, 2001 the Interregional Scientific and Practical Conference on the problems of religiology has been held in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok.
	MYSTERIES OF THE MUGOJAR MOUNTAINS Three seasons archeological group of the Institute of Archeology of the SB RAS worked in the west of Republic Kazakhstan, at the spurs of the Mugojar Mountains (Aktyubinsk Region). For this time more than 60 points of Paleolithic period have been discovered and investigated.
	FROM THE EPOCH OF GEOGRAPHICAL DISCOVERIES UP TO NOW The most prominent geographers of Siberia and Far East have gathered in Irkutsk to take part in the 11th Scientific Conference dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the East-Siberian Branch of the Russian Geographical Society.
	THE "INTERNATIONAL PARLIAMENTARY PRACTICE" PROGRAM The purpose of the program is to acquaint young people of Russia with the work of the Federal Parliament of Germany.
