Guide for Authors

Submission of Papers
All manuscripts should be submitted by E-mail zam@catalysis.ru not later than November 15, 2007. They will be subjected to the normal refereeing procedure which will start immediately after the conference. The refereeing process will be organized by the invited Editors from the Conference Program Committee and supervised by the Editor in charge of the Paleontological Journal.

Volume of Papers
The papers should not exceed 24 pages (A4 format) including tables, artworks and references.

Language
The principal language of the Special Issue is English.

Manuscript Preparation
The layout of a paper should be as follows: Title. Author (s) (First name (s), Second Name). Institution. E-mail. Abstract (including major problems discussed in the paper and key words, not more than 10 lines). (1) Text of the paper, (2) References, (3) Titels of the Tables, (4) Figure captions.

Text should be typed, double-spaced, with spaces of 3 - 4 cm on the left and right, left orientated. Each page should contain not more than 28 lines. Each line should contain not more than 60 characters, including spaces.

Correspondence address
The name, complete postal address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address of the corresponding author should be given on the first page of the manuscript.

References
These should be indicated by numerals introduced consecutively in the text and must be listed at the end of the paper in numerical order. The abbreviated titles should be followed by the volume number, year (in parentheses) and page numbers.

Illustrations
High quality computer graphics (greyscale only) are acceptable. Because artwork will generally be reduced in size before printing, any lettering must be sufficiently large (3-5 mm) to be legible after reduction. All illustrations should preferably require the same degree of reduction and must be clearly numbered. Legends to illustrations must be submitted on a separate list. The figures should be inserted in the text of the paper and attached separately (TIF format with the resolution 400-800 dpi is advised for attached graphics).

Units
The use of SI units is preferred.

Format
The files should be send in MS Word format. Additionally, Pdf version or MS Word version with build-in fonts is desirable. Please make sure that all fonts and symbols in pdf-version of the article appear properly.

Correction
The editorial board retains the right to reduce and edit the papers.

Proofs
Corresponding authors will receive proofs of their paper. They are requested to return corrected proofs as soon as possible. No new material may be inserted in the text at the time of proof reading. A "note added in proof" will be accepted only if permission has been obtained from the Editor.
