Numerical solution of differential and integral equations

2D numerical simulation of a flame front propagation

The report deals with a problem of a numerical simulation of a flame front propagation. A new class of two-level explicit schemes is used for simulation. One applied on adaptive structured mesh that was specially constructed for multiscale processes modeling. The basic idea here is to use small time and space steps only in a part of a region. The series of experiments shows stable picture of a flame front moving.
