Numerical solution of differential and integral equations

In the paper the numerical algorithm for solving the elasticity system for horizontally stratified media is presented. The algorithm is based on the solution of the differential matrix Riccati equation. The algorithm is useful for any tipe of anisotropy and differs from known methods for isotropic media. The wor was suppoted by the RFBR grant N 02-01-00809.
