Modeling of a catalytic rector-generator of hydrogen

The study concerns two-dimensional mathematical model of the compact catalytic reactor-generator of hydrogen from the traditional hydrocarbon feed stocks (natural gas, gasoline). The selected variant of reactor is based on the thermal coupling in one reactor unit of the endothermic steam reforming of methane and the exothermic oxidation of some part of the generated hydrogen. This variant is one of the most promising in a practical sense. The results of numerical analysis of the model are given, and they are in agreement with data, which was obtained from the experimental unit.
