The investigation of the heat conductivity of multilayer object defind the necessity of analysis of the numerical methods of the inverse problem solution.

In most cases, such problems have been tackled by a combination of the Gauss-Newtopn method and the adjoint equation formulation. In this paper we used different modification of Newton method: constrained Newton, reduced gradient method, unconstrained Newton.

The effectivness of planning is discussed: measuring of the temperature in optimal plane points make possible to decrease the error of calculation more then twice. For solving such inverse problem reduced gradient method was more precise then Newton method (mean square error was degreased twce). The analysis of numerical experiments demonstrated that reduced gradient method was stable then Newton method to the error of the measuring.
