Natural gas hydrates are solid molecular compounds of water with natural gas [1]. There are tremendous reservation of natural gas trapped in hydrates in the continental shell and in the ocean around the globe. One of the methods of determination of the coefficient of conductivity is based on special measurements. Application of this method demand solving of the inverse problem.
In this paper one of the mathematical models of the gas hydrate dissociation is analyzed. Discontinuous Galerkin method (DG-method) is used for solving of Stefan’s problem. The weak formulation is in form of Baumann-Oden.
