Inverse Problems of Geophysics

Sourse reconstruction problem for the nonlinear oscillatory system

The source reconstruction problem for the nonlinear distributed oscillatory system on the data on a part of the set is considered. The problem is transformed to the minimization of the corresponding discrepancy. The solvability of the extremal problem is proved. The Tykhonov regularization method and the penalty method are used. The convergence of these methods are proved. The necessary condition of extremum are obtained.
