High-Performance Computing, Parallel Methods and Algorithms in Geophysical Problems

Parallelism of scaled model of a relief

The material submitted in the article describes preconditions for development of parallel algorithms of calculation of an approximated surface of scaled model of a relief, beeing as a function with the minimal surface in the class/family of continuous functions, for which volume under the surface(or the integral on the element of splitting) is equal to a volume of the ladder stepwise, calculated as multiplication of fixed value of an altitude, on the area of a projection of the appropriate stepwise level.
