Computational Algebra

Block iteretive process for a difference advective - diffusive equation on sphere.

Three-dimensional advective - diffision transport equation with dominance of an advection is approximated by the second upwind schem. The block iterative process is applied for solution of a finite-difference equations, where the precisely reversed block can be a part of the operative till any of three coordinates. In this case number of iterations depends on a choice of coordinate and direction of treating of points in two other coordinates. The purpose of operation is the determination optimal variant of this iterative method.
