Both in our country and abroad conferences with proceedings' publishing are often held, collected papers are published, including series of proceedings. In many cases, however, this is done manually, the process and proceedings themselves are re-prepared again as new work, with too much time and energy spent for that, and often means of information representation appear not to correspond to the tasks set. In the paper some ways of improvement of the process, based on multi-level approach to information representation, are discussed. Such particularities of the discussed type of documents as their relatively unified outlook, typical requirements of publishers, high complexity of resulting code, necessary for qualitive output presentation in printed or web form, necessity of separate tuning of various publishing systems' components, with considerable interdependency of these parts, their versions and modifications are at the most attentive study.
