Mathematical modeling of processes in atmosphere and hydrosphere
Estimation of anthropogenic emission impact on the processes in the atmosphere supposes modeling of heterogeneous multi-component systems. The paper addresses the problems of building the models on the base of the equilibrium thermodynamics principles.
The Energy Systems Institute of SB RAS has suggested a general model that allows one at a set initial state to study the whole area of thermodynamic attainability and calculate partial equilibria that belong to this area. The effect of individual factors (surface effects, characteristics of solutions that form on the aerosol surface, air parameters) on the properties of the mathematical problems solved and the results obtained is considered sequentially. The efficiency of the suggested approach was proved by the analysis of composition and sizes of droplets in the polluted atmosphere.
