Numerical solution of the tsunami inverse problem, which is based on the regression data modeling, is presented in the paper. The location of the Andreanov 1996 tsunami source is being estimated using tsunami wave-forms recorded by deep-ocean stations, which were installed near Aleutian Islands.

On the first step the regression models for each station had been created. These models express dependences of the tsunami parameters from parameters of the waves computed using the model ("basis") sources. On the second step of the computational experiment the regression models, which express the correlation between the "basis" sources location and the main parameters distinction in recorded and computed waves. Finally, summarizing the results of nonlinear multi-parameter regression modeling of the real and computed tsunami data, the possible location of 1996 Andreanov tsunami source had been estimated.

Thus for quick solution of the tsunami inverse problem the method, which is based on nonlinear multi-parameter regression modeling, is proposed. It can effectively used for real Tsunami Warning.
