Постобработка изображений по локальным средним интегралам для задачи фрактального сжатия

In the present time, allowing to compress the images at the given quality (peak signal-to-noise ratio) better then well-known JPEG standard, the algorithms of image coding for acceleration of videodata on telephone communication channels transfer are required. One of such algorithms is the fractal image compression. This method is based on the idea of image representation as a fixed point (attractor) of contractive mapping. In the searching of this mapping the image, in a result of coding, is divided into blocks, each of them is independently coded. As a result of such compression the reconstructed image has the some sort of artefacts (the block cellularity). The modern theory of variational tensor splain-approximations allows to use various functionals, which value should be reproduced during treatment of the image eliminated as possible from artefacts by a correct splain construction. The developed algorithms of tenzor splain-approximation by local average will be considered in the report. The results of using these algorithms will be demonstrated on concrete examples of the grayscale and colour images.
