	ACADEMICIAN GENNADI SAKOVICH IS 75 Congratulation of the Presidium of the SB RAS.
	ANDREI ERSHOV, THE SCIENTIST AND THE PERSON April, 19 Academician Andrei Petrovich ERSHOV (1931-1988) would be 75 years old. He was one of the pioneers of domestic programming and has become its leader, the scientist whose influence on the coming-to-be and development of domestic programming was significant and determining.

	SYMPOSIUM OF YOUNG GEOLOGISTS Last week the anniversary, 10th International Symposium of students and young scientists «The problems of geology and bowels development» has taken place at the Tomsk Polytechnic University.
	A FILM SHOOTING A little more than a year is remained until the semi-centennial anniversary of the SB RAS. The preparation for this significant event is already begun. In particular, there is a work on gathering the materials for several films and books about the history and today's condition of the Siberian Branch.
