	ON THE PEAK OF PERFORMANCE The L.V.Kirenski Institute of Physics is half a year elder than the most of the Siberian Branch: it has been created on October, 12, 1956 as the Krasnoyarsk Institute of Physics, and May, 18, 1957 it was included in the structure of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences.
