	THE 50th ANNIVERSARY OF THE SB RAS: RESULTS AND PROSPECTS Traditionally on the eve of the Day of Science a press conference is held at the "Siberia" District Information Center. This year it has been devoted to the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
	THE DOORS ARE OPENED FOR EVERYBODY The Days of Russian Science in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok are not only the time when one should pay tribute to scientists, but also a unique opportunity to familiarize with the activities of virtually all the scientific research Institutes of the Siberian Branch of the RAS. During open days everyone could learn in what, how and why the Siberian scientists are engaged today.

	THE DAYS OF SCIENCE AT THE ITAM OF THE SB RAS
	TO THE BOTANICAL GARDEN AS FOR THE HOLIDAY February, 8 within the framework of the celebration of the Day of Science the Open day has been held at the Central Siberian Botanical Garden of the SB RAS.
	ESPECIAL HOLIDAY FOR THE TOMSK REGION The regular Day of Russian Science in the Tomsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS was traditionally celebrated by the meetings of scientists with schoolchildren and students, including the Open days.

	NANOTECHNOLOGIES, THE STRATEGIC DIRECTION February, 8 the employees of Academic divisions, representatives of branch institutes, higher education institutions, administrative bodies of the Omsk Region and Omsk City have gathered for a solemn assembly devoted to the Day of Russian science.
	«THE THREE SISTERS» FOR THE SCIENTISTS OF KUZBAS The celebrating of Day of Russian science to Kemerovo was not reduced only to the calendar date of February, 8. Solemn and business actions have begun already last year.
