	THE MEMORANDUM OF MUTUAL UNDERSTANDING The president of the Russian Branch of the "Intel" Company Dr. Stephen Chase is a frequent visitor at Novosibirsk and is meeting not for the first time with the leaders of the SB RAS.

	AT THE ADVANCED LEVEL Next year the Central Clinical Hospital (CCH) of the Soviet District, the coeval (speaking more precisely, almost coeval: a year of the difference is not considerable) of the Siberian Branch, will celebrate the 50th anniversary. Today the CCH is one of the largest multifield medical institutions of Novosibirsk.
	CONFESSION OF THE DESERVED DOCTOR OF RUSSIA On the eve the professional holiday of physicians, Doctor Galina Sergeevna Soldatova, the Head of the 2nd Therapeutic in-patient department of the CCH of the SB RAS, Doctor Sc. (Medicine), Professor of the NSU was conferred with the rank of “Honored Doctor of Russia”.

	THE MOSCOW ROOTS OF THE ACADEMGORODOK In the beginning of June a meeting of the graduates of the Moscow State University has taken place at the Administration building of the Soviet District, devoted to the 50th anniversary of the SB RAS, the 250-anniversary of the Moscow State University, indissoluble connection between the Moscow State University and the NSU, reflected in the book «Graduates of the Moscow State University in the Novosibirsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS».
	IRKUTSK SCIENTIFIC CENTER: THE PORTRAIT WITHIN THE EPOCH OF CHANGES the book « ISC: the portrait during the epoch of changes » issued on the eve of the 50th anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences is a sanguineous story about versatile life of one of the largest scientific centers of the SB RAS.
	IN MEMORY OF CHEMIST-ROMANTICIST In March the life of excellent scientist – chemist, Doctor Sc. (Chemistry), Professor Georgi Georgievich Furin who worked in the Novosibirsk Institute of Organic Chemistry of the SB RAS for 45 years, has ceased.
	SOCIAL PARTNERSHIP IN OPERATION The year of 2007 appeared to be fruitful for anniversaries: the 50th anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the RAS, 70th one of the Novosibirsk Region, the 15th of the Trade Union of the Workers of the RAS, the 5th for the City competition «Social efficiency and social partnership development» among scientific institutes.

	FORTY SIX YEARS TOGETHER WITH THE READER Since the following issue, our newspaper «Science in Siberia» enters the 47th year of its activities. All these years it serves hand and foot for the Siberian Branch of the Academy of Sciences.
	IN HONOUR OF THE SB RAS ANNIVERSARY June, 10 the next, 32nd race in memory of Valeri Rytsarev has taken place.
	THE HOLIDAY OF SUMMER, THE HOLIDAY OF SPORTS On the tenth of June the sports holiday organized by the Public Council on Physical Culture of the NSC of the SB RAS and the Administrative Department of the SB RAS has taken place at the "Yunost" Stadium. This event as well as many others for the last months, has been devoted to the 50th anniversary of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
	AcademTour-2007 From June, 25 to July, 2 the traditional International Children's Tennis Tournament " AcademTour -2007" takes place on the Central courts of the Academgorodok.
