	IN THE INTERESTS OF THE ACADEMGORODOK The Novosibirsk Scientific Center stands on the threshold of practical realization of several large-scale projects those are called to give a new impulse to social and economic development of the Academgorodok: construction of new buildings of the NSU, the complex of apartment houses along the Koptiug Avenue, the creation of Technopark.
	ON THE COURSE OF APARTMENT HOUSES CONSTRUCTION FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF THE SB RAS ALONG THE ACADEMICIAN KOPTIUG AVENUE Resolution of the bureau of the SB RAS Presidium for the Novosibirsk Scientific Center of 20.09.2007.
	THE FUTURE OF THE ACADEMGORODOK IS IN OUR HANDS The Academgorodok stands on the threshold of great changes. The construction of apartment houses along the Koptiug Avenue has begun, a new building of the University and first buildings of Technopark are on turn. The Academgorodok experienced nothing of the kind for forty years.
	IT IS NECESSARY TO BUILD SOUNDLY AND BEAUTIFULLY! There is an interesting detail in fact: everybody who lives in the Academgorodok loves it faithfully and ardently. However the future of the district seems to be far from unambiguity: the public is divided into the fans of olden time and those who prefers new forms of development.
	THE DIALOGUE OF A MAN WITH THE NATURE How does one call the Academgorodok? A unique constitution of the landscape architecture where the principle of formation of the inhabitancy by dialogue of the person with the nature - dialogue is applied, instead of domination of one above another. How to catch this side where dialogue comes to an end?
	PRESERVATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF THE UPPER ZONE OF THE ACADEMGORODOK All the new is born in the throes. This rule has not bypassed both the construction of Technopark, and the construction of habitation under the cost price for the employees of the SB RAS.
	YOUNG SCIENTISTS WISH TO LIVE AND WORK IN RUSSIA Till 1990ths the system of reproduction of the scientific staff in the Novosibirsk Scientific Center worked well. In many respects it was provided with that the mechanism of the solving of the housing problem was developed.
	THE INDEX OF RELIABILITY The Academgorodok will develop, there is already no doubt. However how it will be reflected in vital activity of all the structures as a whole and in the operation of engineering services, in particular? The interest is not idle, especially if to speak about the problems of water supply and water removal rising sometimes sharply enough.
	THE ACADEMGORODOK SHOULD DEVELOP The key solution of the "brain drain" problem of the Academgorodok is a construction of habitation for youth.
	HOW LONG IS IT POSSIBLE TO SUFFER? As an occasion for the writing of this letter the next stay of the construction of the apartment houses complex houses along the Koptiug Avenue followed the court decision.
	WHO DOES THE CONSTRUCTION IN THE ACADEMGORODOK NEED, AND WHAT FOR
	THE SOVIET DISTRICT: CONSTRUCTION AND MUNICIPAL IMPROVEMENTS How is the process proceeding of the construction of habitation, objects of social infrastructure and municipal improvements.
	AN APPEAL OF THE PRESIDIUM OF SB RAS TO THE DEPUTIES OF THE CITY COUNCIL in connection with the program of the Technopark founding in the territory of the Academgorodok.
	THE VICTORY MEANS THE DEVELOPMENT September, 12 public hearings were held on the project of the general plan of Novosibirsk and new scheme of its zoning.
	HAS THE PROCESS REALLY BEGUN TO OCCUR? At the press conference taken place October, 16th the Deputy Chairman of the SB RAS Dmitri Verhovod has reported to the Novosibirsk journalists last messages from the fronts of the struggle for Technopark in the Academgorodok.
	ABSURDITY! OR SOMETHING ANOTHER? Passing through Berdsk or being in various districts of Novosibirsk, one pays attention to the appearance of beautiful modern buildings, new quarters. One looks and compares with the Academgorodok, especially with the Upper zone. One compares and asks a question to oneself: why do they not build so at the Academgorodok?
	THE HOUSE OF CULTURE SHOULD BE BEAUTIFUL For many years in the Novosibirsk Academgorodok they speak about a renewal of the "Academy" House of Culture. The building of the cinema has been constructed in 1962, no major overhaul took place for all the operating period. Now it shows a sad shabby structure that is spoiling not only the outward appearance of the Academgorodok, but also discredits a rank of the House of Culture.
	INFORMATION EXPERIMENT Since October, 8 the State Public Scientific Technical Library of the SB RAS has opened a test access to its abstract databases for ten higher education institutions of the Novosibirsk.
	LIBRARIES INSTEAD OF CASINO October, 17 an exhibition-presentation of the seven municipal libraries is held at the "Mayak" cinema, those are the part of the Lomonosov Centralized Library System of the Soviet district.
	EVEN THE JAPANESE COULD ENVY At the showroom of the House of Scientists of the SB RAS from October, 5 to October, 21 an exhibition «Bonsai» is taking place.
