	BIO-FUEL. REALITY AND MYTHS In the beginning of this year at the session of the SB RAS Presidium a scientific report «The Problems of obtaining high-quality motor fuel from plant biomass. State-of-the-art and prospects» has been presrnted.
	CLASSICAL UNIVERSITY IN 21st CENTURY From March, 5 to March, 7 the 16th International Education Exhibition "UchSib" took place at the Siberian Fair. More than 600 education institutions and the organizations took part in the exhibition. An idea of social partnership was dominant.
	NEW STEP TO INNOVATION THINKING On the twelfth of March a solemn opening of scientific and education innovation complex for laser spectroscopy, photonics and optoelectronics has taken place at the Novosibirsk State University.
	TO BE A STEP AHEAD OF COMPETITORS The history of the Experimental Plant of the SB RAS totals already about fifty years. Unfortunately, within idle time many technologies have been lost, workshops and production sectors closed down. Now one can say with confidence that the crisis has passed. The Experimental Plant is put on its feet and even is going a step ahead of the competitors in something.
	THE WAY OF 50 YEARS LONG The Soviet District of the Novosibirsk has been created according to the Decree of the Presidium of the RSFSR Supreme Soviet of March, 26, 1958.
	«THE TOBOLSK TOWN IS FAMOUS» Recently it seemed that the Tobolsk could share the common lot of many old cities doomed for slow fading. But people were found who in a full measure of their forces and talents sometimes overcoming the pessimism of their associates, have undertaken a titanic work of the revival of the former glory of the first Siberian capital.
