	THE TIME OF NEW PARADIGMS April, 16 a meeting of the scientific community of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences with Vladimir Evgenievich Fortov, the Academician Secretary of the Branch of Energy, Engineering, Mechanics and Control processes took place at the Small Hall of the House of Scientists.

	TRAVELLING PHOTO-EXHIBITION One year ago the Siberian Branch as they wrote earlier, «in a common impulse» prepared for celebrating the 50th anniversary. One of the first actions within the anniversary days was opening the photo-exhibition «50 years of the SB RAS. People and years» on May, 31, 2007 in the picture gallery of the House of Scientists of the SB RAS.

	THE STOPPED MOMENTS OF CHERNOBYL Twenty two years ago a trouble has fallen upon the world. April, 26, 1986 there was the largest in the history of mankind man-caused disaster, the wreck of the 4th power unit of the Chernobyl nuclear power station. There were many Siberians among those who eliminated the consequences of the catastrophe.
