	HOW TO CONTROL THE NANOWORLD? Among the others, the State support of scientific research was received by the school of Academician A.L.Aseev, Director of the Institute of Semiconductor Physics of the SB RAS, and Doctor Sc.(Physics and Mathematics) A.V.Latyshev, Deputy director of the ISC of the SB RAS and director the Shared Center «NANOSTRUCTURES» - «Atomic processes and manufacturing technologies for solid-state semconductor nanostructures».
	THE KING OF «MIDNIGHT COUNTRIES» The subpolar ethnographic group is working in the north of Western Siberia already for a quarter of century. The basic direction of the research is religious and ceremonial practice of hanty and mansi.

	BRIGHT CLUSTER OF INTELLECTUALS May, 12 at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics of the SB RAS a round table discussion has taken place with the participation of representatives of mass media. This meeting became the first action in the list of the anniversary celebrations devoted to the 50th anniversary from the date of the founding the Institute and the 90th anniversary from the birth-date of G.I.Budker.
	THE INITIATOR OF FUNDAMENTAL SCIENCE IN KRASNOYARSK In April of the next year 100 years from the birth-date of Academician L.V.Kirenski will be celebrated. Leonid Vasilievich has put a corner stone in the foundation of the Krasnoyarsk Academgorodok, the Krasnoyarsk Scientific Center: he has created the Institute of Physics of the SB RAS. It was a half-year before the official opening of the Siberian Branch of the USSR Academy of Sciences in 1957.
