	N.A FLORENSOV IS 100 YEARS OLD January, 15 (28) marks 100th anniversary of outstanding Siberian geologist, the organizer and the first Director of the Institute of the Earth's Crust of the SB RAS (at that time called the Institute of Geology), talented teacher N.A.Florensov.

	RUSSIAN CATALYSTS TO HELP ENVIRONMENT On the eve of New Year the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis of the SB RAS was visited by a representative of the embassy of Republic Korea in the Russian Federation, attache for science, Director of the representative office of the Foundation "International cooperation in science and engineering" of Republic Korea and head of the laboratory of the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (Seoul).
