	THE INSTITUTE OF STRENGTH PHYSICS AND MATERIAL SCIENCE OF SB RAS IS 25 How did all this begin.
	THE ANNIVERSARY WAS CELEBRATED IN BUSINESS CONDITIONS Institute of Strength Physics and Materials Science of the SB RAS have been dated an International conference on physical mesomechanics, computer designing and development of novel materials, as well as an out session of the United Academic Council of the SB RAS for power engineering, mechanical engineering, mechanics and control processes.
	THE CONFERENCE ON LASERS IN TOMSK The start for celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Zuev Institute of Atmospheric Optics of of the SB RAS has been taken in the middle of September. In the Tomsk Academgorodok a 9th International conference was held "Atomic and Molecular Pulse Lasers-AMPL".
	INTERNATIONAL FORUM AT THE INSTITUTE OF PETROLEUM CHEMISTRY The beginning of the celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Institute of Petroleum Chemistry of the SB RAS is initiated: at the IPC of the SB RAS a 7th International conference "Oil and gas chemistry " was held.
	THE ACADEMGORODOK … WILL BE FLOATING ABOVE A MOUNTAIN, AS IF YOUR MONUMENT, THROUGH CENTURIES… October, 2 a memorial stone was opened in Tomsk in honor of the founder of the Tomsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS and the Tomsk Academgorodok, Hero of Socialist Labour, Honoured citizen of thr Tomsk Vladimir Evseevich Zuev (1925-2003).
	THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE LABORATORY The Laboratory of Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis has been founded at the scientific research Institute of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics attached to the Tomsk State University 35 years ago.
	HIGH TECHNOLOGIES OF ASIA At the end of September the delegation of the Siberian Branch has visited the Chinese city of Shenyan. The basic purpose of trip consisted in the participation in the International exhibition " Novel and high technologies of Northeast Asia - 2009".
	AT THE ADVANCED FRONT OF THE SCIENCE From August, 20 to August, 25 a representative scientific event was happened in Florence (Italy), such as Joint 10th International conference on environmental mutagens, 39th Annual conference of the European Society for environmental mutagens, and 18th Annual conference of the Italian Society for environmental mutagens.
	INVERSE AND ILL-POSED PROBLEMS The Soboleva Institute of Mathematics of the SB RAS has held an International youth scientific school - conference "Theory and Computational Methods for Inverse and Ill-posed Problems".
	THE DAYS OF ISTC IN IRKUTSK At the end of September the Days of the International Scientific and Technical Center have been held in Irkutsk which the event was organized under an active participation of the Presidium of the Irkutsk Scientific Center of the SB RAS.
	DISCUSSING THE PROBLEMS OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Within the framework of the International Youth Innovation Forum "Interra-2009" at the SPSTL of the RAS a round table discussion concerning the topic of " Legal safeguard of the results of scientific and technical activities " took place.
	THE EPOCH OF GLOBAL DIALOGUE September, 24 at the Novosibirsk State University an International scientific and methodical conference " Teaching foreign languages: an integrative approach", devoted to the 50th anniversary of the NSU and the 10th anniversary of the Foreign Languages faculty.
	HISTORICAL CHANCE OF RUSSIA Academician V.E.Nakoriakov’s viewpoint.
	THE PRIZE FOR MOLECULAR BEAM EPITAXY The symbol of the prize, a crystal sphere, was handed to scientists at the opening of the International Forum for nanotechnologies held October, 6 in Moscow.
	NOMINAL GRANTS FOR THE STUDENTS OF THE NSU The students of the NSU will receive nominal grants in honour of well-known scientists, which has been instituted within the framework of celebrating the 50th anniversary from the date of the University was founded.
	TO RESEARCH COSMIC RAYS At the astrophysical range of the Irkutsk State University a launching has taken place of the largest in the World Cherenkov installation TUNKA-133 intended for the studies research of ultrahigh energy cosmic rays. It is a unique large-scale physical installation created in 21st century in Russia.
