	FROM COMPETITIVE STRUGGLE - TO IDEOLOGY OF MUTUAL COMPROMISES The meeting of executive authorities of the Branch with Ministers of Education of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization countries has taken place at the Exhibition Center of the SB RAS within the framework of the International Youth Innovation Forum “Interra” on September 24.
	AMBASSADOR FROM THE DANISH KINGDOM The delegation of Kingdom Denmark led by the Ambassador-at-Large has visited the Academgorodok on September 29.
	MEMORANDUM ON COOPERATION The Memorandum on Cooperation has been signed between the Fund “Skolkovo” and the Consortium comprising the Novosibirsk State University and the SB RAS Institutes.

	“INTERRA-2010”: INNOVATION-MINDEDNESS The official opening of the International Youth Innovation Forum “Interra” has taken place on September 23 at the Novosibirsk Theatre of Opera and Ballet. This event has occurred in Novosibirsk for the second time and the hosts have characterized it as “the largest open international platform beyond the Urals where the best innovative projects of manufacture, science, culture, social development are demonstrated”.
	“INTERRA” IN ACADEMGORODOK On the second day of the Forum “Interra” the young people have gathered in the House of Scientists of the SB RAS.
	SCHOOL OF SUCCESS The International Youth Economic School held within the framework of the International Youth Innovation Forum “Interra-2010” has taken place under the title “How to Turn Scientific Ideas into Innovation Business” at the Institute of Economics and Industrial Engineering of the SB RAS within three days - from September 20 through September 22.
	YOU ARE OUR RESERVE The Congress of Chairmen of Councils of Scientific Youth of the SB RAS institutes, confined to the activities of the International Youth Innovation Forum “Interra”, has taken place in Academgorodok on September 21-22.
	NANOMYTHS AND NANOREALITY Within the framework of the Forum “Interra”, the Round Table “Nanotechnologies: Myths and Reality” has taken place at the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry. Schoolchildren, young people and visitors of “Interra” have got an opportunity to make a deep immersion in science and to find out for themselves a lot of new and interesting.
	GREEN CHEMISTRY - FOR THE PUBLIC GENERAL WEAL A Round Table “Green Chemistry” has been held in the Conference Hall of the Institute of Catalysis on September 24.
	POPULARLY ABOUT HIGH ENERGY PHYSICS Within the framework of the International Youth Innovation Forum “Interra”, schoolchildren have been invited at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics of the SB RAS. Employees of the Institute delivered survey lectures in which have popularly explained to children what the high energy physics is intended for and what practical applications the academic developments have.

	THE WINNERS OF SITE COMPETITION HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED Scientific-coordination councils of programs “Telecommunications and Multimedia Resources of the SB RAS” and “The SB RAS Information Resources” have carried out a competition of official sites of institutes and organizations of the Siberian Branch of the RAS.
	PRIORITY - INNOVATIVE ACTIVITY The science in Russia is being developed by efforts of several Branches of the Russian Academy of Sciences simultaneously - besides the central part, these are the Siberian, the Far Eastern and the Ural Branches, which cover a huge territory of our country. We are all aware about the situation in the SB RAS, but what about our neighbors? Today we are speaking about the situation in the Uralsk Branch of the RAS.
	FORUM OF INTER-REGIONAL COOPERATION The regular 7-th Forum of Inter-Regional Cooperation has taken place in Ust-Kamenogorsk (the Republic of Kazakhstan) on September 6-7.
	DELTAS OF EURASIA - A MUTUAL INTEREST The International Scientific Conference “Deltas of Eurasia: Origin, Evolution, Ecology and Economic Development” has been held at the International Ecological Educational Center “Istomino” in Ulan-Ude on August 16-20.
	TRADITIONAL MEDICINE - TO MODERN PUBLIC HEALTH SERVICES Scientists from Buryatiya have taken part in the International Scientific Conference “Current State and Prospects for Studying and Developing Drugs of Natural Origin” which has taken place in Ulan Bator on September 16-17.
	SEPTEMBER CONFERENCES OF THE HIGH CURRENT ELECTRONICS INSTITUTE Two parallel scientific events: the XVI International Symposium on High Current Electronics and the X International Conference on Modification of Materials with Particle Beams and Plasma Flows, have taken place at the Tomsk Scientific Center on the basis of the High Current Electronics Institute from September 19 through September 24.
	SYNCHROTRON RADIATION AT THE CENTURY OF MOLECULAR BIOLOGY The XVIII Russian Conference on use of synchrotron radiation has taken place this July at the Budker Institute of Nuclear Physics.
	FROM NOVOSIBIRSK TO KAZAN The 5-th International Exhibition «Aerospace Technologies, Modern Materials and Equipment. Kazan - 2010» has taken place in August in the capital of Tatarstan, city of Kazan.
	ENTERTAINING LESSONS OF CHEMISTRY The XIII All-Russian Youth Scientific School-Conference “Actual Problems of Organic Chemistry” has taken place in Novosibirsk from September 13 through September 18.
	THE MAIN RAW MATERIAL CONFERENCE OF RUSSIA The V All-Russian Scientific-Practical Conference “Oil and Gas Exploitation, Preparation, Transportation” has taken place at the Tomsk Institute of Petroleum Chemistry of the SB RAS from September 21 through September 24.
