	BE CREATIVE AND NEVER BECOME DISPIRITED! A remarkable chemist, outstanding organizer of science and manufacture Academician Gennady Viktorovich Sakovich has marked his 80th birth anniversary on April 13.
	TO WORK IN THE INTERESTS OF THE MOTHERLAND Doctor of Sciences (Physics and Mathematics), Principal Researcher of the Lavrentyev Institute of Hydrodynamics of SB RAS Professor Vladimir Borisovich Kurzin was 80 on April 13.
	SERVICE AND DEVOTION OF PROFESSOR MAKUSHKIN Professor Yu.S.Makushkin has marked his 70th birth anniversary on March 10. The pupil of Academician V.E.Zuev, known expert in the field of physics of molecules, molecular spectroscopy and diagnostics of gas media, Yury Semyonovich has equally devoted his life to the Tomsk Scientific Center of SB RAS and the Tomsk University.
