	PRIME MINISTER’S VISIT Chairman of the RF Government V. V. Putin has paid a visit to Novosibirsk on February 17. In Novosibirsk Akademgorodok, Prime Minister has visited the Technopark, inspected the new building of the Center for Information Technologies and held a conference “On improving the efficiency of government management using information technologies”.

	DOUBLE JUBILEE CELEBRATIONS Last year we celebrated a double jubilee. The popular science magazine “Science and Technology in Yakutia”, which has become popular with many readers, marked the 10th anniversary of its foundation. It is symbolic, that 2011 was also a jubilee year for our magazine’s Editor-in-Chief Viktor Vasilievich Shepelyov, who has marked his 70th birth anniversary.
