	KNIGHT OF MEDICINAL CHEMISTRY Academician Henry Alexandrovich Tolstikov is one of the leading Russian scientists in the field of fine and industrial organic synthesis, chemistry of natural and biologically active compounds, medicinal chemistry.
	PERSON-CREATOR CATEGORY Academician G.A. Tolstikov certainly belongs to the person-creator category, whose work and life has necessarily been accompanied by the creation of new, groundbreaking and productive structures.
	A WORD ABOUT SCIENTIST Areas of scientific interests of the foremost organic chemist of today Academician Henry Alexandrovich Tolstikov surprise with versatility. His accomplishments are numerous and tangible, they are distinguished by a harmonious combination of fundamentality with a constant purposeful practice.
	MEETINGS PREDICTED BY DESTINY With age every person tends to return, at least in thoughts, to his past and make an objective assessment of life events and people that have played a key role in the achievement of personhood.
	UNTIRING TALENT In the 1970s Henry Alexandrovich Tolstikov had a close contact with the chemical companies of Bashkiria (Ufa, Sterlitamak, Salavat). The staff of monomer laboratory and heads of polymer laboratories also visited factories of Bashkiria on a regular basis.
