SCIENTIFIC PROGRAM
Three-day scientific program of CHEMREACTOR-17 will comprise plenary invited lectures, oral presentations and posters on the following topics:
May 18-19, Crete Post-symposium CATALYTIC PROCESSING OF RENEWABLE SOURCES: FUEL, ENERGY, CHEMICALS LANGUAGE The official language of the Conference and Symposium is English. |
Representatives of industrial enterprises and companies engaged in chemical technology are welcome to take part in the conference and in the exhibition as part of the conference, to give presentation of the company, to publish advertisement materials in the Book of Abstracts. The fee in such cases depends on the presentation form and is set by mutual agreement with the Organizing Committee. |
Post-Symposium "Catalytic Processing of Renewable Sources: Fuel, Energy, Chemicals"
PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITIES
Compact Disk with the Abstracts will be published before the Conference and distributed to the participants at the registration. The authors are kindly requested to send by E-mail zam@catalysis.ru the short (5-10 lines) annotation of the accepted contribution before March 30 to be included in the brochure of the Program. Conference Proceedings will be published in a Special Issue of Chemical Engineering Journal after the conference. Only papers presented at the conference will be considered for publication. All manuscripts will be peer reviewed, and selected papers will be included in the conference’s proceedings volume. Manuscripts should be submitted at the registration desk, not later than May 14, 2006. You can find regulations in the attached Guide for Authors. Journal home page: www.elsevier.com/locate/cej

Guide for Authors
Submission of Papers
All manuscripts should be submitted at the conference registration desk. They will be subjected to the normal refereeing procedure which will
start immediately after the conference. The refereeing process will be organized by the invited Editors from the Conference Organization and supervised
by the Editor in charge of the Chemical Reaction Engineering section of the CEJ.
Volume of Papers
The papers should not exceed 20 pages (A4 format) including tables, artworks and references.
Language
The principal language of the Journal is English.
Manuscript Preparation
Three copies should be provided in double-space typing on numbered pages of uniform size with a wide margin to the left. . Electronic version of the paper should be attached.
Correspondence address
The name, complete postal address, telephone number, fax number and e-mail address of the corresponding author should be given on the first page of the manuscript.
Abstract
A brief summary (50-200 words) of the contents and conclusions of the paper and an indication of the relevance of new material should be included at the beginning of the paper.
References
These should be indicated by numerals in square brackets, introduced consecutively in the text and must be listed at the end of the paper in numerical order. Journal titles should be abbreviated according to the chemical Abstracts Service Source Index, 1970 edition, and supplements. The abbreviated titles should be followed by the volume number, year (in parentheses) and page numbers.
Equations
These should be numbered (1), (2) etc.
Illustrations
It is imperative that authors supply the original and two copies of each illustration. Artwork should be supplied as black ink tracings or as high contrast black and white glossy photographs. High quality computer graphics are also acceptable. Because artwork will generally be reduced in size before printing, any lettering must be sufficiently large (3-5 mm) to be legible after reduction. All illustrations should preferably require the same degree of reduction and must be clearly numbered. Legends to illustrations must be submitted on a separate list.
Units
The use of SI units is preferred.
Accepted articles on disk
The final and accepted text should be submitted on a 3.5 in diskette (in addition to a hard copy with original figures). Double density (DD) or high density (HD) diskettes formatted for MS-DOS or Apple Macintosh compatibility are acceptable, but must be formatted to their capacity before the files are copied on to them. The files should be saved in the native format of the word processing program used. Most popular wordprocessor file formats are acceptable. It is essential that the name and version of the word processing program, type of computer on which the text was prepared, and format of the text files are clearly indicated.
Copyright Transfer
All authors must sign the 'Transfer of Copyright' agreement before the article can be published. This transfer agreement enables Elsevier Science to protect the copyrighted material for the authors, but does not relinquish the author's proprietary rights. The copyright transfer covers the exclusive rights to reproduce and distribute the article, including reprints, photographic reproductions, microform or any other reproductions of similar nature and translations, and includes the right to adapt the article for use in conjunction with computer systems and programs, including reproduction or publication in machine-readable form and incorporation in retrieval systems. Authors are responsible for obtaining from the copyright holder permission to reproduce any figures for which copyright exists.
Proofs
Corresponding authors will receive proofs of their paper. They are requested to return corrected proofs as soon as possible. No new material may be inserted in the text at the time of proof reading. A "note added in proof" will be accepted only if permission has been obtained from the Editor.
