Presentation
The time of presentation (including some time for questions) is 45 min for a plenary lecture, 30 min for a keynote lecture, 20 min for an oral presentation (10 min for an oral presentation in the Session of the Young Scientists).
Multi-media (LCD) projector will be available. Organizers recommend the authors to prepare computer presentations in *.ppt format (Microsoft Power Point from the package MS Office). Overhead projector also will be provided.
The Organizing Committee kindly asks the authors to prepare their posters in advance. Space for poster is 80 cm width x 80 cm height. Posters should be readable from 2 m distance. The authors are requested to place their posters in the morning of the corresponding Poster session day according to the Conference schedule.
Conference language
The official languages of the Conference are Russian and English.
Conference Publications
Compact Disk with the abstracts of the plenary, keynote lectures and accepted presentations will be available at the registration desk. Each registrant will also receive the final scientific program-brochure.
The full texts of the invited plenary and keynote lectures will be published after the Conference as a special issue in “Kinetics & Catalysis“ Journal in English and Russian. The authors of oral contributions are also invited to publish the full texts in the “Kinetics & Catalysis“ Journal but as the regular papers (with mark “Proceedings of VII Conference on Mechanisms of Catalytic Reactions”).
Authors of plenary, keynote and oral communications wishing to present the contributions are requested to submit the manuscripts in English both in the duplicate form (2 hard copies) at the registration desk and to send by e-male to “Kinetics & Catalysis“ Journal (kincat@ioc.ac.ru) before June 25, 2006. All manuscripts should not exceed 18 pages (A4 format) including tables, artworks and references. Text should be typed 2.0 line spaced using 14 points font. Tsarskoe Selo - Pushkin
Pushkin is a finest example of a royal family’s country residence. The original stone palace and gardens were built on a small estate 25 kilometers from the capital between 1717 and 1733 for the Empress Catherine I, wife of Peter the Great. A centerpiece of the complex is Catherine Palace. The greatest Russian architect of baroque period, Bartholomeo Rastrelli, created the design of the building, its ornamentation and interior layout, and oversaw the work of many artisans who had turned the place into a grandiose architectural ensemble set in the midst of huge parks. The town of Pushkin has strong connections with the greatest Russian poet, Alexander Pushkin, who spent his early years here.
Peterhof
Petrpodvorets is one of the greatest achievements of national culture, built in early 18th century on the southern shores of the Gulf of Finland as a royal summer residence. Terrace of Great Palace offers a wonderful view over the canal, sea, and world largest Great Cascade composed of 64 fountains and 255 bronze sculptures, crowned by the huge statue of Samson in the center of 21 m high fountain. Upper and Lower Parks, Montplaisir and Marly Palaces, the Hermitage Pavilion, 144 fountains demonstrate the elegant design which is never excessive.
