The organizers of the Russian-Indian Symposium on Catalysis and Environmental Engineering

The Symposium will be held in Novosibirsk Scientific Center (Russia) on September 13-14, 2009.

All persons are cordially invited to present and discuss their latest results on the subjects of the session.

English will be the official language of the Symposium.

PROCEEDINGS

Plenary and oral lectures abstracts will be distributed among the participants during the Symposium on a compact disk.

ABSTRACTS

Authors of all contributions are invited to submit the 1-2 page abstract in English in camera-ready form. Tables, artworks and references will be accepted within this limit. The text should be typed 1.5 line spaced on A4 (2.5 cm all around margin) paper. Times New Roman font (12 points) should be used. The abstract should contain the title, names and affiliations of all authors, and e-mail address of the speaker. Authors are requested to send their abstracts by e-mail: star@catalysis.ru as attached Word file before July 31, 2009.


LOCATION and ACCOMMODATION


The Symposium will take place at the Boreskov Institute of Catalysis of the Siberian Branch of RAS (Akademgorodok, 5, Prosp. Akad. Lavrentieva). Akademgorodok is located in a picturesque place near the Ob’ River, 30 km away from Novosibirsk, a big industrial and scientific city of Siberia.



Accommodation will be arranged at the hotel “Golden Valley” at special rates strongly reduced for the Symposium participants.
The expected rates are as follows: Single ˆ 23 and Suite ˆ 41.
Breakfast is not included.




WEATHER
At the middle of September, the weather in Novosibirsk is usually warm with the temperatures in the range +15 - +17 oC.

FEES

Registration fee is Euro 100 for each participant. Accompanying persons as well as post-graduates and students pay 50% of the registration fee. The fee covers: editorial expenditures, auditorium rent, opening party, coffee breaks, 2 lunches, social program and transfer Airport-Hotel-Airport.

ENTRY VISA TO RUSSIA

All Indian participants of the Symposium need a valid Passport and an entry visa to Russia (Passport should be valid during 6 months after the Symposium - at least until March 15, 2010).
