The international conference “Mathematical Methods in Geophysics-2008” will be held in Akademgorodok (in the vicinity of Novosibirsk) on October 13-15, 2008. The Conference is devoted to the memory of Anatoly S. Alekseev, Academician of Russian Academy of Sciences, who would be 80 on October 12, 2008. The Conference will cover important mathematical problems of modern geophysics.

Registration of participants will take place at the House of Scientists on October 13 from 9 a.m.
The registration fee for foreign participants is 250$(USA).
This sum covers Conference Proceedings, rent of Conference Hall, equipment, transportation, coffee breaks, and social program.

The conference will take place in the House of Scientists of Novosibirsk Academgorodok and the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Mathematical Geophysics SB RAS.

The official languages of Conference will be Russian and English.

Accepted papers will be published in MMG-2008 Conference Proceedings on CD-discs.

The size of articles must not exceed 6 pages.
