The International Conference on Computational Mathematics will be held in Academgorodok (in the vicinity of Novosibirsk), June 21-25, 2004.

Conference Topics:

The ICCM-2004 will cover the following subjects presented both in invited and contributed papers:

  1. Computational algebra
  2. Approximation of functions and quadrature formulas
  3. Numerical solution of differential and integral equations
  4. Statistic modeling and Monte Carlo methods
  5. Parallel numerical algorithms
Minisymposia on some related topics will be held.

The following events will be organized within the framework of ICCM-2004:

  • an International Workshop isiCAD on Constraint-based Approaches and Methods of Mathematical Modeling for Intelligent CAD/CAM/CAE Systems. The organizers will be the LEDAS company and ICMMG SB RAS. For more detail, please see http://isicad.ru ;
  • a Workshop "The distributed information-computational resourses and mathematical modeling - DICR&MM ". The organizers will be ICT SB RAS, ICMMG SB RAS, the Trofimuk United Institute of Geology, Geophysics & Mineralogy SB RAS and the Novosibirsk State University.     Schedule:

    The Conference will be held in the House of Scientists of Novosibirsk Academgorodok. Academgorodok is the capital of Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences which includes more than 50 different Institutes. For more detail, please see http://www-sbras.nsc.ru

    The official languages of Conference will be Russian and English. Synchronous translation from Russian into English will be provided.

    Publication:

    The full version of the accepted papers should be sent in the English language by April, 1, 2004. The requirements for the format of the full texts will appear on the Conference site on February, 20. Selected papers will be published in the Proceedings of the Conference. The Proceedings will be distributed to the participants on their registration.

    Publication Format Requirements


    The papers to be published in the Proceedings of the International Conference ICCM-2004 are to be sent to: article@sscc.ru
    as attached files with file titles, for instance, ivanov.tex, ivanov2.eps, in the electronic form: LaTeX - file, article or ncc styles. For the papers prepared in the Russian language -- Windows-1251 encoding.

    ncc- style is available at CTAN: ncctools- and ncclatex- collections are found by searching (key words).

    The size of a paper should be no more than 6 pages. The size of the text field -- 125 by 200 mm. The basic font -- 10 pt. No more than 2 figures are allowed.

    Figures should be submitted in two versions: a draft for printing (option:draft=true) and a high-quality figure (color). The latter may be of any format, but preferably: cdr, ps, eps, png, pcx, jpg, bmp; the more colors the better.

    Note that the Proceedings will be published in black and white colours, so please do not refer in the paper to the colour parts of the figures (e.g., "blue colour corresponds to...").

    Important Dates:

  • February, 9, 2004 - the deadline for applications containing the abstracts;
  • February, 20, 2004 - the confirmation letters of acceptance will be sent;
  • April, 1, 2004 - the full versions of the accepted papers in the English language should be sent to the conference organizers.

    Additional information:

    Dear Conference participants arriving at Tolmachevo Airport: Bus No. 108э makes regular trips with 1-hour intervals from the Bus Stop at the square in front of the Airport (at 6.20 a.m., 7.20. a.m., 8.20. a.m.,... during the entire daytime)and goes to the "Golden Valley" hotel in Academgorodok. The trip takes 1 hour. The price of the bus ticket is 25 rubles.
